Kara

Even as I remain slumped against the food preparation table, Harrison’s cum leaking down my legs, I don’t feel the slightest bit embarrassed.

Instead, it's more like I'm waking up, like I'm experiencing something I should have felt long, long ago…

Harrison is clearly of the same mind.

“I can’t believe we never did this before,” he mutters. I laugh, but I’m unable to avoid mentioning what’s been on my mind.

"Hmm.” I pull up my clothes as nonchalantly as I can. "Maybe we could've, Harrison. If only one of us had, you know. Made a move. ”

Harrison spreads his palms in surrender and starts to get dressed himself. "Well," he starts, a hint of apology in his tone. "You were always… you know."

I arch an eyebrow. “Thin?”

Harrison makes a face and buttons up his shirt. “I was going to go with not-curvy-and-less-appealing, but if you want to say that, sure!”

I shoot him a look of mock offense. “Harrison Bosco!” I declare, hands on my hips. Are you trying to body-shame?”

For just a second, he looks startled. I bite my lip as my stomach sinks with churning discontent.

Shit.

Have I gone too far?

I know the men on Biggal are… very sensitive to the topic of body-shaming. At least, the ones who get out long enough to do anything else. The guys who spend their whole lives here generally have no idea what they’re missing— and they tend to be the ones who are generally shocked to discover that thinness is preferred in the real world.

Harrison is more worldly than that, though.

Which means he might be on the sensitive side.

Crap.

He studies my face and lets me sit with that for a second before that sly, confident look — the one I recognize from our high school interactions — slides over his face again.

“No,” he answers reasonably. “I get some girls are built thinner. And good for them… everyone’s different.”

Harrison says it so sincerely I actually believe him, so sincerely I think he’s actually telling the truth. Then he glances over at me, his eyes trailing over my ass.

“But,” he adds through a smirk, “I can’t deny that the general preferences outside of Biggal Mountain have definitely… benefitted me. Once I heard you moved to LA, I was sure I’d lose you forever to kale smoothies and hot yoga!”

I playfully swat him on the arm, and a dashing grin spreads across his face. The swat was meant to be a simple, natural gesture, one reminiscent of our high school years.

But that’s not what it’s turned into.

Just like that, our eyes meet. Instead of something spirited and flirty, this has somehow become one of those magnetic moments again… like everything else has ceased to exist except for the two of us. We stare into each others’ eyes, our chests rising and falling.

Fuck. I bite my lip. I could go for another round…

But then my phone dings from my purse, shattering whatever that was.

“Sorry,” I mutter, heading to where I’ve stashed it beneath the prep table. I’ve only just managed to pull my panties back up, but Harrison doesn’t seem to mind.
